ADD YOUR STORY TO CITY OF MEMORY
This amazing new City Lore web exhibit is a grand new repository for the entire city’s stories and experiences. Laid out over an interactive map of New York City, all five boroughs are represented by stories that City Lore has garnered over 20 years – along with stories from visitors like you.

In addition to the City Lore-curated entries, the site makes it easy for anyone to upload their memories. Just enter www.cityofmemory.org into your browser of choice and enter the site. In the upper right corner of the map is a box labeled “ADD STORY.” Simply click it and follow the directions to add your story to the City of Memory! You will be asked to enter where the story takes place, a name for it, and some information about yourself. Then the site will checked to make sure it’s got the exact right location for your story - cool, huh? Then you’ll be prompted to enter the story, a teaser, and any artistic credits or links. Finally you can upload a photograph along with your story (more extensive video and audio uploads will be available soon). It’s really easy and intuitive. And your story will be available soon afterwards to share with friends and family! We hope that you’ll email us at citylore@citylore.org with your feedback, or if you have problems entering.

Please spread the word about this wonderful new site. Explore it yourself to see the amazing things that happen all over our great city, and add to it with your own memories and experiences! Things that happened forty years ago or something that happened to you this morning - all are welcome in the City of Memory.

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO VOLUNTEER TIME AND/OR SERVICES TO CITY LORE
